Come to the youth group room this Sunday (11/12) from 11:15 to 12:00pm to help us make toys for animals housed in anti-cruelty shelters. All ages and abilities are welcome! The more hands we have, the more toys we will be able to distribute to animals in need.

On November 12th, we will be working on a service project in the youth group room from 11:15 to noon. All ages are welcome to attend this service project. We will be making toys for cats and dogs housed in anti-cruelty shelters in Chicagoland. There will be several toy making options and all necessary items will be set up for a fun filled toy making time. Some toys are easier to make than others, so we will even meet all skill levels! Please join us as we bring happy barks and contended purring to animals across our area.

This Sunday is HPPC's Homecoming Sunday! Come worship with us, see our year in review, look towards next year, and watch at the 3rd graders receive their Bibles. K-2nd graders will be dismissed to attend Sunday school, as usual, after the Bibles are given. The 3rd-5th graders are invited to stay in service with their families, as this is a fun service to be a part of.
HPPK continues this week at 11:15. We will begin to practice songs for our Christmas Pageant with Mr. Randy at the beginning of our time together. We will then take another look at Paul for our Spring production. Next week, parts will be assigned for our Pageant and we will begin practicing in earnest. The Pageant is scheduled for December 17th, during our morning worship.
Monthly Moments will meet this Tuesday, 10/17 from 7pm to 8pm. We will meet in the upstairs dining room to begin, and likely move to the youth group room for the remainder of our time together. I will bring a snack for us to munch on as we get to know each other and discuss plans for this year. I look forward to meeting with the 6th-9th graders on the 17th!

Join us this week for HPPK! We will be learning about Paul, singing a few songs, and working on a fun craft. This craft will remind us to serve the Lord at home as much as we do while at church. Our door hangers should be ready to take home on Sunday. However, if they need to dry, you can pick yours up the next time you're at church. Hope to see you on Sunday!

Highland Park Pres Kids is back this week! We will meet in the upstairs dining room from 11:15 - 12pm. We will begin HPPK this fall by learning about Paul, the star of our upcoming spring musical. We will learn how he was introduced to Christianity and what he did to spread what he learned to others during his time. We will also learn why he ended up being shipwrecked, the big event in our play.
After a few weeks learning all things related to Paul and completing several crafts, we will turn towards the Nativity story. We will work together to produce this year's Christmas Pageant for the congregation in December. Please join us for HPPK! This is a fun way to get to know others, share our talents and continue to grow in God's love.

Please join us in the Youth Group room this Sunday, 9/17, from 11:15 to 11:45 to create fun care packages for the college students within our congregation. We will be addressing boxes, writing notes and filling the boxes with various Halloween related items for the college kids.
All ages welcome!
